Hey, I was just cruzing ebay and found this item up for auction. There was no indication of the maker nor the provenience of the piece. Is it one of Crazy Al's carvings from Oasis '06? It looks just like the old tiki god that was located at the Luau in Beverly Hills, CA.

That's not it. C'al's is much cleaner. It is a reproduction of one of the Hanalei Hotel tikis, which was in the garden area by the koi pond right outside our hotel room at Oasis 6. You can see a great photo of it on page 205 of the BOT. Al's pendant is virtually identical to the original. |
