Hmmm. I grew up in South Florida. Moved there well after Africa-USA had closed, but still never heard of it until now. I guess it's successor would be Lion Country Safari, which is located approximately in the same area. I think I went there once when I was a kid. They had the same drive-thru habitat. It's surprisingly still there today.

I like seeing animals in some natural type habitat and think the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park has done a fairly good job. They have a new Cheetah Run exhibit.
