As you all may know I am trying to sell as many of my personal belongings as I can bear to part with so Mr. Tikifish and I can buy a home (er, condo, er, loft, er, trailer by the river...) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=2165498448 The blowfish! He's been staring at me and making me feel guilty. He would make someone a nice lamp though - just watch out for those spikes! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=2165497005 Cool carving! I am keeping my dark wood carvings but the teak tiki is for sale... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=2165454100 Why am I selling this book? I really must be losing my mind! Oh, it's hard when a collector has to start un-collecting! |

Oh Tikifish, my heart goes out to you...we're moving too as you know, and I need cash in the worst way. But my collection is so small I couldn't part with anything without huge gulping salty sobs of anguish. I've packed everything away (it all fits in one apple box) and shoved it out of sight so I'm not even tempted. Instead I'm dumping tons of non-Tiki books, clothes, all manner of stuff that will go in a massive yard sale on the 29th. Good luck to you, wish I could buy the puffer and Tiki, but there it is... aloha, |

I wish I could come to your yard sale! Wait, that would be counterproductive to the downsizing project... must... stop... buying... stuff.... aa a aaa |

Trader Woody's yard sale coming up this weekend, too! Luckily, I've so much non-Tiki crap to unload, I don't have to make a dent in anything even vaguely Oceanic. Trader Woody |

More stuff! I almost took this one off halfway through the listing, I decided to keep it, then changed my mond again. Sigh! Downsizing is hard! It's a Trader Vic's book - with drink recipes! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=2168401904 Here's some flotsam and jetsam from my tiki shelves! I decided to jettison anything that wasn't ceramic. Yes, I know, I'm being weird. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=2168417893 |

Love the magnets, too. Another item to add to my "eBay watch list of stuff I really want but will probably go too high for me to afford" (Owning a new house is great, but cuts seriously into my eBay impulse shopping). And what's in those mug-magnets? Looks like oatmeal  BTW, did you get my check for the fish? I sent it on the 25th and noticed it hasn't cleared yet. |

The cheque went into the bank and the fish is shipped! I hope there isn't any trouble at the border with it - I don't think they get too many blowfish going across! |

So I just signed on the dotted line! The 'Saucer House' as we call it (actually a 29th floor condo with a big curved window wall) is ours! Now the important work begins - the making of the TIKI COMPUTER ROOM! The room is 6 feet by 6 feet, so it shouldn't take to along to get that all important 'cluttered look'. :) |

Fishy, I just received the tiki that I won from you on e-bay and I want you to know that he is safely at home with my other tikis. I think he had a hard time adjusting to our American ways at first, but I think he's going to be okay. The other tikis still laugh every time he says 'about'. |

Give him beer and donuts fortnightly and he should do ok. Also you may want to take him oot and aboot whenever the temperature drops below freezing, just to remind him of the old country. |

I'll keep that in mind. Turns out my diet and his are the same. Good news for me. Unfortunately, it doesn't get that cold here in Southern Cal. He'll just have to adjust. |
