need to know about tiki joints in San Diego

Hi all,

My friend and I are heading out to San Diego mid-May for a long weekend. We want/need to know of any tiki bars, or similar themed establishments, where we can soak up some tiki vibes and drink from (and purchase) fun tiki mugs-preferably to some nice music (no hip/hop or rap please..had enough of that at Taboo Cove). Any input much appreciated! Thank you. Tikitommy

When in San Diego you'll want to drop by Bamboo2U in beautiful Leucadia on Pacific Coast Hwy. They have a very good assortment of tiki & Hawaiiana stuff including mugs, tikis, furniture, art, etc. I was just there last saturday and if I hadn't run out of money I'd probably still be there! Check it out on http://www.bamboo2u.com. Also very close to Lou's Records for a great selection of new & used lounge, exotica, surf vinyl & CDs at reasonable prices.
