Awesome work - I love the chiselled texture. Is it going to have multicoloured glazes?

Pink background uh? Looks like chocolate. Its certainly a different looking mug. I bet there isn't a single collector from PNG but wouldn't they think it was cool to see these mugs.

F

Danny tht is a sweet mug, I only wish we could make it to hukilau this year to pick one up. I do have to agree with teaKeythat it looks like chocolate, and I would love a chocolate Tiki in my easter basket (is it Kapu to eat a chocolate Tiki?)

Um, I hate to be a critic, but where's the schlong?

I think this chocolate idea is a winner. Once the mug is done, you can do a chocolate series with the same mold!

Why must you tempt me so Danny?

Nice sculpt there, Diablo dude.

Put GROG on list for one made out of chocolate!

Would it be cash or check this time. How much are they. What else will you be bringing? I still need to buy an Black Hawaiiano if available and maybe another red maka koa.

Sculpture looks great wonder how tall of a mug it is. Looks chisled, at least the bottom part.

Very Nice Mug there Danny...

Cant Waite to get my mitts on one!!!

I'm not an expert in the area but I'm fairly sure that a plaster mold isn't going to work for chocolate. A silicone mold should work though I haven't seen a multi part silicone mold for chocolate pieces. Usually they use a hard plastic for chocolate molds regardless of if you are making a chocolate piece that is hollow with no opening, hollow with an opening or a solid piece.

I'd probably not want to make this sucker solid though as that would be a fair amount of chocolate. Hollow with an opening would be the easiest, very similar to slip casting only the temperature of the mold acts as a release agent.

Really sweet sculpt. So, what is it really made of? Looking forward to getting a mug.

The Artist Proofs were available at Oasis. The regular version will be available in a few weeks, according to what Danny and Stephanie told me.

Thanks Kate, should be soon . I'll keep y'all posted.
