Thought I would post a link to my newest mural project. Didn't want to waste TC space on a non tiki mural, but, thought some of my TC friends might be interested in my latest mural project. It is 20' X 16' and I am painting it on 10 sheets of MDO plywood - to be installed upon its completion! http://jonmooers.com/id11.html I've got one week into the actual mural project and hoped to have the completed mural installed by the end of the upcoming week! The best part is painting it on the "strip" on beautiful Hampton Beach - Great weather so far! Online at [ Edited by: jpmartdog 2007-09-12 19:54 ] |

Great work as usual Jon! I'll be gigging at the Hampton Beach Sea Shell Stage on Monday Aug. 27. Let me know where I can see it in person!!! Duh! At the Ships Inn! You mention it at your website. I'll be sure to check it out! (I'll see you this weekend, Woo Hoo!) [ Edited by: The Granite Tiki 2007-08-21 00:22 ] |

Amazing - I don't see how you can keep the big picture in mind when painting in such large sections. |

JP it turned out amazingly cool! I just took a look at the completed project. Perfect weather for the whole project too, pretty great to have actual summer in New England for so many days. Can I ask for some rain now? Thanks for sharing. Tikisgrl |

Yeah!!! It looks great and I'll bet your client is excited about it as well. It will provide a great scene from the pool, just need to add the sound of waves slapping against the pier. Nice work. :) |

Soooo...... on to the next mural... or murals. I'm excited to be working on three large panels (and getting paid!) for the beautiful Kentville on the Ocean hotel on Hampton Beach NH. The panels are to be hung on the exterior of the hotel and will be completed with faux gilded frames to present the aura of museum quality art on the outside of a building.! I call the project "A Tribute to Three Masters" - check out the project, if you will! Please! |
