these are just a FEW drawings from my most recent sketchbook, going in chronological order, for those who were interested::: first this: from time to time, I do do some abstract: and my dad's latest 'exaggerated body movements' faze led me to this, which has become one of my favorites: if you want to see some of my older drawings, that's cool. I'll also post future drawings (if you want) that I think are cool. most of what I draw ends up nasty or crumpled up, but for the most part, it's alright, I guess. |

Nice work :D Definitely got the same sense of style and design as your old man :D That last one is my fave for sure. I'd recommend that you have a play with pastels. I think that they would work well with your loose and flowing style. Play around with coloured paper too. You'll find that generally only tiki related art tends to get a mention on here, so your other art might not get a lot of attention (and which is why this thread has been moved to 'beyond tiki'). Thats not to say its bad, it just this a tiki site, so tiki is the main focus :D deviantart is apparently a good forum for budding artists like yourself. Having said that, we'd love to see more of your work which has a tiki them to it, so keep the hula girls coming :D |
