Bamboo-Lashing Tutorial - Other Crafts

Spent the summer working on a tiki-style patio, of which I'd post pictures if it weren't for the fact I had to take it all down because my apartment complex is repainting the buildings. Anyway, in my quest to tikify my space, I had trouble finding a definitive tutorial on how properly lash bamboo. So, once I figured it out, I thought I'd fill that gap and create a tutorial of my own. Since I'm sure many here would benefit, I'd like to begin my contribution to Tiki Central by pointing the way. You can find it here: How to Lash Bamboo. I've also created a second one on a different technique used just for effect: How to Tie a False Bamboo Lashing. Hope you find them useful! If you do, I'd love to see what you made, too.

By the way, I found some extra time and added a tutorial on the picture frame I mentioned in the other tutorials. :) You should take a look if only for the excellent vintage photo I came across.
