Tiki from Tahiti

Hi everyone,
I 've brought from Tahiti a Wooden Tiki, a "modern" one, there is a date engraved on it, it was sculpted around 1993-94, but no signature. The sculptor is either a Maohi or a Popa'a (imported from the Metropole-in other words, France!!!) I'm not sure.
It's a great one, full of "Mana", the Spirit of the South Seas!

Very cool! You may want to move pics of this great mask over to the COLLECTING TIKI forum. This section is more or less reserved for carvers to show their own work. Youu found a great mask though! Bonjour!

He is a Really Cool dude and Looks to be carved from a Ficus tree too! Great find.
