A friend sent me this link to sheet music imagery and I thought I would pass it along.
There are some good, some bad, and some just plain racist.

This is the first entry on the first page of covers, apparently from 1872.

If this is the wrong forum for this, I'm sorry, it made the most sense to me since only the images are shown.

I think that has been posted before, but thanks for the link again. I just got the sheet music for Quiet Village...mmmmmmm. :)

We've debated the connection (or if there really is one) between tiki / pop Polynesiana and fezzes. Could this be a missing link?
