Be there for the most exciting and important historical event of the millennium!

At promptly 8 pm, May 30th, at the Tattoo Factory Gallery, the the curtains will part, champagne will flow, flashbulbs will pop and ladies will swoon as the 8th wonder of the word is unveiled...
THE ... LARGEST ... BLACK ... VELVET ... ELVIS ... PAINTING ... IN ... THE ... WORLD!
Besides the Great Wall of China, the only other man-made object plainly visible from the moon!

Bring your camera!
Bask in it's glory!
Possibly be healed!

There will be entertainment provided by the lovely and talented Ilsabe O'Connell.
We will also be providing food and drinks, and have plenty of smelling salts on hand for the faint of heart....

There will be a special performance by Patty Elvis, at 10pm @ The Spot, right next door to the gallery so that the party can continue throughout the evening!!!! Don't miss this extrodinary night, it's an all out extravaganza!

I have a velvet Elvis in the garage somewhere. Picked it up from an actual Tijuanese artist in Tijuana on Revolucion, no less. :wink:

..just do a search on ebay and all sorts of velvet elvis paintings appear in all types of styles and prices.....

Yeah, but I'd so much rather find one in the wild! At a thrift store or a garage sale would be ideal. If I get desperate, there's always online I suppose.
