Music! Exotica Covers

I wanted to get the group mind going on a thread about your favorite Exotica cover versions. Just picked up an old Danny Gatton CD with a nice version of Quiet Village and figured there might me a lot of good stuff out there going undiscovered. How 'bout it?

Danny Gatton doing 'Quiet Village'? I would love to hear that. I'd love to hear a compilation CD of a bunch of contemporary artists covering exotica tunes.

Yeah, a comp with different artists would be great. Or Martin Denny tribute album!

Try doing a search for Quiet Village under song title at Tower.com or Amazon. You'll be surprised what you come up with. Amazon also has a "used" feature which takes some of the risk out of mystery CDs.
