This frame was started a long long time ago and I finally finished it this weekend (procrastination..).
The Artwork was a trade with Tiki Tony in 2003
The matting work was done by Link at Frame Fetish in 2005

Wow Derek, What an excellent Frame! Isn't it fun to go back and finish something you started so LOONG ago and realize how much you have learned since then. Haven't seen many carvings from you but I Know you've been busy. Glad you took the time to finish this guy.

This looks great! If you don't mind I've got a few questions for you.
What kind of paint are you using? Did you finish this with a clearcoat or is that tinted wax?
What kind of wood are you using?

I was going for a similiar colored look with my last tiki and the pictures actually look decent but in real life the colors were very muted.
