Here are some pictures in a tribute to the Bellevue Trader Vic's and for all to see what we're now missing.

The cool industrial looking front outside.

Close up of the nice wall piece and one of the poles.

The Bar as you come in to the Lounge on the right hand side.

Across the Lounge from close to the back.

Looking back towards the entrance and the gift cabinet.

Early shot of a full gift cabinet.

One of the best places to sit in the Lounge at the back. You look out at the whole Lounge and can see everyone and all the cool Tiki decor!

A nice shot from the best seat!

The Chinese Oven!!

Another nice shot of the Lounge from the best seat looking towards the bar/front.

Your friendly looking Tiki which greets you when you walk into the Lounge.

The wall opposite the Bar in the Lounge.

One of my favorite Tiki's in the Dining Room was this little Ku tucked away in the corner.

One of the first Tiki's you see as you enter the Dining Room.

A view across the Dining Room as you would walk in from the entrance.

On one of our visits, our table full of food and grog!! Ahhh...Trader Vic's!

snif snif, sad to see it go,
at least I got there once.
Thanks Dogbytes.

Sad to see it gone, the only location I'd found in the area for anything even approximating a good Poly cocktail. Visited twice, ate once, bar food was very good, drinks were great.

Sad thing about Bellevue is, it seems, if it isn't what's trendy with everyone it flops. Hence Chang's Mongolian Grill stays. Seattle-ish "seafood joint that looks like a steakhouse" stays. California Pizza Kitchen stays. Whatever that Italian joint is that runs like Buca di Beppo stays. All of them quite good, but I'd trade all of them for TVs.

No... no, ONE good tropical cocktail I've found. Ask the Friday night tender at Bleu Bistro on Broadway for a Captain's Bitch. Not on the menu.

...still want TV's back. Ehh.
