The Conch is not dead. It lives in my jungle paradise, after it was sterilized of course. I'm going to Oceanside this week, do you want me to bring it? It longs for your lips. |

I'd like to add that islanders prounce it with the hard 'k' sound (instead of a soft 'ch' sound) at the end of conCH. |

Oh, that's Conch-y all right. I remember having a big conversation about how well Conch-y played in relation to other conches with King K after he tried Conch-y out. King K really played Conch-y well! I am touched that so many of the ohana have found it in their hearts to remember our beloved Conch with photos like this. I love you, Conch!!! Suzanne |
