This is my third attempt, having never carved before any constructive criticism would be welcome. I will prolly do something to jazz up the top of his head - I just haven't decided on what that would be.

If this carving is 1" tall it's really good. If it's 4 feet tall, you got some work to do. |

Actually, just kidding. I like this carving; it has gesture and some cool lines going on. And it looks different. Keep at it! Are you going to stain & finish it? |

Hey, not bad. As far as spelling goes... "prolly" is actually kinda common in speech anyways. It is pretty good for one to four inches. Might it be cedar? Say, from a cigar box maybe?? |

This one is great. Bold, clean lines! The butternut is fun to carve but is a bit too soft for fine detail. Lets see some more! |
