Aloha, and let me explain this :D

I'm part of a contest being run by some adult lego fans on a flickr group called SCI-LUG.
The contest is to build a small spaceship under a certain set of dimensions.

As somewhat of a Tiki-aficionado (as well as avid lego nerd), I've had this idea in my head for a while now, and when the contest came along I just had to let it out!

"It's perfect for defending space transports as they ferry their cargo of pineapple-juice, coconuts, and silver rum, from planet to planet."

More pics can be found here on Flickr.

For those of you who don't completely get the play on words:
You probably know who Trader Vic is. Obviously.
And a "vic viper" is a type of space ship, from the Gradius series of videogames. It's a very popular spaceship type that lego fans will build and add their personal touches to.

Just thought I'd share something silly with you all.
Mahalo!

NaLogg, welcome to TC. It's amazing what can be built out of Legos!

Hey Nalogg, Very cool and good to see Vic has made it into the future!!
Those palm leaves are sure to block any sort of hostile weapons as it transports those barells of rum!
Thanks for the pictures and welcome aboard!!
