D.J. Bonebreak is entitled to big props for being a part of X, possibly the best band ever to come out of the City of the Angels.

The fact that D.J. Bonebreak is now doing exotica may lend credence to the my sister's interpretation of tiki as a place where former scenesters go once they have fallen off the cutting edge.

I dunno 'bout that...I saw X at the Fillmore in SF earlier this year, and they tore the place apart. Yes, they're old, but not "former scenesters..." :)

In "X-the Unheard Music" documentary, D.J. Bonebrake is shown playing the vibes...and that was many, many years ago, so he's been into jazz/exotica for a quite a while.
