No worries I shot an e/mail to OTTO's and they changed it within seconds, as it happens Appreciate you letting me know it was there It's all good...... Pretty amazing how on Friday night I met someone who was telling me about this 'surf documentary' (meeting me for the first time, not really knowing my involvement in the surf community). Then he mentions it is going to be showing at 'some club with a weird name....Otto's something or other'. I said, 'Otto's Shrunken Head'? he said excitedly, 'YES!'. I asked, when? answer was this coming Saturday 6/20 at 7 pm. Then I told him I have a special START-OF-SUMMER SURF-ROCK SHINDIG that follows that! Pretty freaky. On Saturday at the MaiKai I was introduced to the gentleman who is behind this film. Can't wait to see it! The Tiki Gods were totally screwing with me at the Hukilau over this! |

question, I am new here how would one post my poster for this 6/20/09 show in this thread? another question -- is it even appropriate protocol to drop that poster in this thread for the surf documentary, or would that be deemed 'hijacking' someone else's thread? I want to slowly groove into this amazing website, and the last thing I want to do is ruffle feathers or come off as shamelessly self-promoting -- I want to participate in discussions, and add what I am doing to inform and enlighten, and maybe even enhance a discussion, where appropriate thanks UNSTEADY FREDDIE |

The poster would fit this thread just fine. When you post, you will see in yellow text below the white box: FYI, Duda Leite the filmmaker will be present at Saturday's screening.

Actually, that was Fang aka David at Carnegie Hall, one of the tikiphiles who appear in the film. Duda Leite aka Tiki DeMille is a charming Brazilian who you will also be at Otto's on Saturday night. Aloha! From left to right, Sondra, film editor, Duda, filmmaker, David, rum drinker
