Tiki Sighting on SNL

One of the Saturday Night Live re-runs they play - had Patrick Stewart from Star Trek in a skit that combined Star Trek and the Love Boat. Tim Meadows was Isaac the bartender and behind him on the shelves were a bunch of tiki mugs - a bunch of the PMP style non glazed mugs, a headhunter and some of those Mr. Bali Hai rip-offs. Just thought I'd pass it along...if you wait a couple days I'm sure they'll air it again! Johntiki :drink:

Shortly after that episode originally aired, I attended a Star Trek convention where Patrick Stewart auctioned off the Enterprise cruise ship model used in that sketch. It went for $4800 (all to charity, of course)! --cindy

I asked once before wheter anyone here remebered this but apparently it jogged no memories.

They had some sort of catch phrase - I think it was "Talk to Me". That's what the Moai head said when someone approached. Hadn't thought about that in some time...
