OMG Twitch! Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris - I haven't heard that since the 70's! I think my folks had a copy of it or something and I always liked the title! |

I seem to have more time on my hands than I know what to do with. Speaking of The Shangri-Las, my buddy played guitar and ran the band for them. I seen them in Asbury Park at the St. James, I think it was 67 or 68. On the same night I saw Janis Ian in Greenwich Village, I heard "Those Were The Days My Friend" in the park. To this day whenever I hear it I get a little stupid in the head. The all time sapsucker song got to be when in 94 my son and I went cross country on the Harley. On the way back we stopped at a truck stop in Az. and bought a tape by Red Sovine. We put it on riding thru the dessert and had to pull over to empty out and wipe dry our goggles having just finished listening to "Teddy Bear". Run, cover your ears, stay away from it, you have been warned!!!! |
