I loved the quality of these 32 rockabilly photos from Chicago photographer Jennifer Greenburg - eye candy for most of us tiki afficionados, who are also into the retro culture. http://www.jennifergreenburg.com/rockabillies/ #14 wins the 'most tikified' award! Vern |

I wonder if these photos are for a new book on the rockabilly lifestyle that is being prepared, as mentioned in the VLV email newsletter. The newsletter didnt say who was producing the book. Anyone know? |

Bought the book on Amazon, last night. Can't wait to get it. I already see some folks I know, even though I'm on the East Coast & she's in Chicago, and I'm already jealous of their pads. |

I have yet to make it to Viva. I go to Vegas every November for the SEMA show, so twice a year is hard to pull off. I'm hoping maybe next year. How's the Rockabilly scene near you? It has really shrivelled up here, in Boston, in the last couple of years. Ten years ago, we had a great scene with a bunch of good bands: The Raging Teens, The Racketeers, The Bourbonaires, The Speed Devils, etc. & we had many national acts coming to town, but lately it's been really lean. Have fun in Vegas. Maybe I'll see ya next year.
