Aloha all,

As old timers can tell you, there's a longstanding tradition of me putting off the rolling-out of the new Grand Membership icons. And this year was supposed to be no exception, but today I clicked a button I shouldn't have, and it triggered Grand Membership renewals!

So I've warmed up the ol' Photoshop and and cranked out a spanking new icon, the green pinwheel!

As usual, if you decide to renew, please double-check to make sure it worked correctly, gave you the correct icon and status, and whatnot. If it doesn't please contact me and I'll fix it!

By the way, did you know that Tiki Central has it's own "Legends of Tiki" prints by SHAG? That's right! Sven, Otto, Leroy, and Shag himself, rendered as Tikis:

It's a set of four for $80, which makes them just $20 a piece! These prints are available to GRAND MEMBERS only and we still have a few dozen left. They're a limited edition of 200, signed by SHAG, and sold only through Tiki Central to Grand Members. I'd like to (finally) sell them all out!

I have the shag set, they're hanging right here beside me. The colours are actually even better than those pictured above, unless my Mac is playing tricks on me(it is a clone after all).

Should we expect some sort of notification/instructions when it's time to renew?

How can I pass these up ?

I have this set but you need one more to go with it, one of you. You're the one, MORE than all the others, that brought this whole tiki pop culture together. Don't minimize yourself.

Yeah, the system sends you an email letting you know it's expired.

I will sign up after being on TC two years...it's time.

When I signed up 1 1/2 yrs ago I had been lurking on and off for a few years... I did not relize this forum would become so addicting, so many cool people, Tiki has become a part of my life... I finally signed up this morning, I'm Grand now...:wink: The shag set is awesome,I saw them at a member's house and have wanted them ever since.. Made it even easier to join.. Mahalo Hanford for putting together such a great place!

WooHoo! Just registerd for my 5th Year as a Grand Member. Mahalo Hanford for all you do to keep people coming back to TC.

This would be six years for me. I paid, followed the links... still no grand member. Been more than 24 hours. Hanford, what gives?

I also think Christie "Tiki Kiliki" White should be added to this set. But I don't like the idea of saying someone is MORE important that the others. Everyone brings something different to the table.

This is a great set. Mine's been framed up for, I dunno, a few years now? It hangs in our guest bathroom.

Don't misunderstand, I never said he was more "important". TC is what brought us all together and made this scene a whole lot easier to organize.

I totally agree. TC is what brought us all together. Without TC we wouldn't know about each region's crawls, we couldn't share urban archeology, news about new tiki artists, new places opening, old places closing, new and old stuff to collect, and most of all, we wouldn't have the wonderful 'Ohana!

Hanford should not be overlooked!
