wait...what am i going to do with NO KINNY for FIVE DAYS!?!? i may get so normal that i go out and start selling credit default swaps!

i am def looking forward to the stories of the adventure tho. we spent the last few days heatedly debating the merits of sundry Karioki tunes and their effect on the denizens of the Great White Northwest.

hope u kids have a great time and pleeeeaaaaase take lotsa pics!

I already received my first prank phone call.

Brace yourself, Dawn! It's gonna be a looooong weekend.

Wait, is this really happening?

I can't separate the truth from the BS around here anymore.

Were there any survivors???
It's been days...

W

I have never been in a situation where I was in such close proximity to utter depravity and nastiness that even though I did nothing wrong I still felt creepy, low, dirty, and damned afterwards. Until last night.

But Doughorne and Squid are nice guys.

B

Oh....my...GOD!

Wolf Mutt, that is EXACTLY how i feel when anywhere near "The Ruzic"! throw in Tiki Joe's Pop and i can only imagine the NEXUS OF EVIL MADNESS created.

hope everyone is relatively safe.

and by that, i don't mean the CELEB-UTARDS, i mean the unwitting denizens of the Pac-Nor-West.

God-Speed, my pretties!

Seattle will have a stain that just won't seem to ever wash out. It'll be awhile before you guys guys don't feel "dirty" anymore. We're in California---we're used to that feeling.

wow, what a fun evening! Burlesque girls, scantily clad halloween revelers, karaoke ~ a few pix:

OK, we need that post edited for names under the pics. We need faces to go with the names! :)

Doug, Andy, Jesse , Woofmutt
Kinny, Dawn
Jo David, Pete
Woofmutt, Miss ? Von Snatch, Iggi
Pete
Kinny, Marlow
elicia, frankentodd
Kinny, Dawn
Elicia, Kinny
Dawn, Elicia

I see Kinny got hisself a nice cardigan and plenty of squeezes! Where's the pics of Squid and Doug? How's everyone's heads today? Got some hangovers? You all certainly will feel a little "tainted" for a few weeks from the close association, but it will pass. As GROG said, we're used to it so we hardly notice. Drink a lot of water.

Is that Iggi and the Twins :o

Woofie is smiling, I didn't see that in my mental image of him

What IS that thing Kinny is wearing? Would you call that "Salmon"?"Peach"? :D

(Thanks Dawn)

D

marlow took a bunch of pictures and video.. hopefully she posts 'em.

MUST SEE VIDEO OF THE KAROKE

I hope their is a video of Kinny doing Love Rollercoster. I tried to stay for that but I just couldnt last long enough I had to get out of there

naw, TikiJoe's Pop & Mom called it a night, and dragged the 3 hooligans outta there, shortly after you left. we ALL missed Marlow singing, but Monkeyskull got pix.

That never happened. They left right after you guys. Just after you left I was wondering if I might be up until 6 AM with the Amazingly Commercially Successful Trio talking about art and God and Tiki Joe's Pop's cool Old Navy t-shirt. Then suddenly it was all "We're tired! We have to go home and sleep!"

I'm sure it'll be different in Liloti's memoirs...

*No one knows how I managed to climb the Space Needle or do it so quickly and I myself have no actual memory of the event other than my King Kong like attempt to swat away the police and media helicopters. Looking back to that night I can only figure that somehow my amazing physical condition and artistic genius combined in a way which briefly gave me superhuman strength.

The next day while shopping at yet another Old Navy with Tiki Joe's Pop the topic of my animal magnetism came up...*

too awesome for words...
lots of characters

Andy and Debbie and Joey and Sammy RULE!
more later....

Bea Arthur

B

yahooooo. looks like a hoot of a rock-n-roll hoochie coo!

Kinny is looking as devious as ever pawing his Bushmills-Coke.

Andy looking bonkers as ever.

All the local ladies look lovely, the gents suave (altho doug looks a little dazed) and squid...

wait, where the hail is Squid?!?!?

Squiddles was there... but he's a vampire,so photographs or mirrors don't work with him...

There are some classic Squiddle shots floating around the area
and should land soon...

Unfortunately, Mrs. LLT wanted the camers for an event she was going to on the weekend
so i wasn't able to take the camera up to Seattle...
imagine my chagrin upon returning home
only to find
that she had forgotten to bring the camera to said event...
so nobody got no pics on the LLT side.. :(

i do know Dave,Andy ,and DougHorne took pics
so gentle hasslings via PMs are in order...

Here's a little narrative of the trip...
left out of LB airport without a hitch on Thursday...
Exited the plane in Seattle and had an ciggie (illegally) outside
awaiting our TikiJoepop pickup
got to the Nazzle's hut-unpacked
shown our respective bedrooms
(mine was in the tikiroom in the basement-with a beautiful window view of the backyard.....Heaven!)
then we ate a MAGNIFICENT dinner cooked by ChefAndy
along with a desert aptly named "better than sex with Bea Arthur"
and proceeded to sit around and watch MatchGame and discuss the schedule..
Every morning we'd drive down the street to Tuscany coffee
where they not only have the best coffee in town, but also the friendliest coffeeslingers EVER!
Mad Props to Soy,Steffy, and crazy New York Eve for keeping us amped and amused for 4 mornings..
FRIDAY
DougHorne and I were shuttled over to Sophistatiki's home for a 6-7 hour Artjam/Rufus Appreciation Seminar..
Dawn's pad is the BOMB! the Poifect Hostess!
Squid and Andy were busy doing some experimental project in the studio
(i think it had something to do with the MurderHouse down the street)
After that....Another smashing meal -Matchgame/Laff-in/and the Gong Show
with accompanying banter...
next day....
SATURDAY
we hit the CITY!
got to hit a cool bookstore and then proceeded to the Space Needle!
(where i proceeded to dawn my Spiderman outfit and scale the structure
meeting everyone at the top for a breathtaking view of the city...
Then we hit some food in their food court
where we spotted
not only an Ostrich on a ball
but also got to ride a Wild Slug! (photos later)
on the way out,we espied a poor man trying to deliver his cart full of cookies and stuff...
i opened the special handicapped door for him to enter
but was met by a frantic crowd of sheep
exiting thru the Handicap door
and not allowing the poor fellow thru!
being the official Southern Californian dispenser of conscience
i then began to berate each and every non-handicapped individual rushing thru the door
"You're not handicapped!" "That's for handicapped People!" "Wrong Door! Handicapped Only!
until finally, people began to use the SIX other doors to exit
just to avoid the tongue-lashing...
Then we saw the HUGE Robot Fountain there and headed home for a power nap...
Then we went to Dogbyte's home for a quick visit before Hula Hula
where i got to meet Jesse, his magnificent muttonChops, and iggy and JoeDavid and Marlow
and got to see DB and her lovely hut and sip on a wonderfully made "Space Needle" cocktail from FranknTodd..
Also got to see Dawn and Otto there
where Otto introduced me to his kids,
telling them so many lies and falsehoods about my art
that i almost blushed!
Everyone else at the party i didn't get to meet
or was never introduced to
but they looked boring anyway
so, after a smoke on the back patio
we headed to HULA HULA
where some of the crew from DB's met us
along with beadtiki,Monkeyskull, and Theresa and someone...
Everyone else who came
were never introduced
but they looked boring anyway...
and then some "Burlesquey" type ladies came in
and some Halloween costumed people followed after them...
So after a Few Bushmills and Cokes
(that i had to buy MYSELF....)
neverbeensoinsultedinmylife....
and some intellectual banter with Woofmutt
it was karaokee time!
FAmily Affair and Cameo's WORDUP will never be the same...
Feeling the crowd's enthusiasm
i felt like Hitler giving a Speech
but neglected to use my powers to instigate another WTO riot...
Andy and Debbs sang ELO's TURNTOSTONE quite professionally
Frankentodd sang FLYMETOTHEMOON
and i think MonkeySkull did KnockinonHeaven's Door
but by then we were pretty drunk
as were everyone else
especially the person who asked Squid
"What is it that you do?"
so we decided to head home
but not until Andy offered me a piggyback ride and i proceeded to shatter his kneecaps
and then Debbie-the only sober one drove us to DelTacoBell
and we all faded and passed out upon returnin g back to nazzal HQ...
Sunday....no hangover...just a little slow
(we drank lots of water before bedtime)
we gathered up the crew and headed down the street to Jimi Hendrix's grave
and had a solemn nice morning quiet moment there
before heading DOWNTOWN to the Science Fiction museum
which was ultra cool
there was also a SpaceAge Album exhibition in the Lamexperience "museum" upstairs
that was too cool for school!
then we headed to Ivars and had some 75¢ chowdah
and got to wander about the lovely interior.... INUIT POWER!
After that we went home and napped and winded down
with the GONG SHOW!
as well as a LAFF-IN DANCE PARTY with lil Joey and Sammy as promised....
Another Awesome dinner as well...
man! Andy and Debs are the Hosts with the mosts!
Monday was mellow except for the Super Secret project that DougHorne and I contributed to
and then around 2:30 after pizza and pasta salad we headed to the airport
full of lovely memories of friendly faces and nondrinkbuying folks...
UNTIL TSA stopped Squid and I from boarding the plane
until we got a special stamp saying we were "cool"
and a inappropriate body cavity joke from another power mad TSA employee
hahaha.......
and then we boarded the plane....
the end!
Thanks to all
makin memories!
:)

BIG HUGS to Andy Debbie Joey and Sammy
for opening their hearts and home to us three thugs....

the cardigan was BURNT ORANGE,Mike!

Andy: Thanks for putting this event together. We had such a great time! Kudos to you and looking forward to many more events!

DougHorne: hardly met you but was immediately instructed by Andy to call you DougHorne (all one word) and it looks like it's caught on. Thanks for gracing us with your presence and maybe next time I'll get to know you more.

Ken: you are SUCH a nut! I love it! You made me feel like I had been rubbing elbows with the celebrities for EVER! I was sorry we didn't get to hear more of you on the stage, but I understand that you were at the whims of your hosts! Next time, big guy, next time! Oh, and don't let those fashion-don't people give you grief for your timeless cardigan!

Dave: My smoking pal! I had a great time making an ass of myself in front of you! Just hope you were still able to hear after I got done talking your ears off!

I was so bummed I couldn't attend Oasis this year but Dawn kept saying how great it was because she was surrounded by some great artists/humorists!

As for the rest of you folks - good to see you all again!

Oh, on an aside - hope none of you were the ones that had our vehicle blocked in - if so, please accept the note I left as a learning experience on driving/parking etiquette!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Lil Joey and kinny gettin chased by an animate totem pole!

WOW Kenny, what a lovely LOVELY recap.
ZAT WAZ FUN! Let's do it next week~!

Kiki~ Ken's "performance" should be up on youtube tonight, if you haven't caught it yet. Sublime silliness.
Toe~ Bonkers to YOU, buddy!
Sweetpea~ You were missed! Jonelle, Kym & the rest, too. Hope you had fun in Texass!

Thanks for the pre-party, Elicia~! Complete with personally named desserts, too.

Beadtiki~ You are welcome! So glad you made it out and added to the fun.

Hula Hula wise~ Bob & Theresa from Tacoma & the Bellingham contingency~ thanks for making the loooooooong drive. Thanks to everyone else who came out for this kickass event. The blend of the Seattle tikifiles and the burlesque ladies was poifect.

Seen it already. Old news. Moving on.

Yeah, this thread is gettin as bloated and drawn out as a California Events thread.

Hey, this event involved Californians. I think there might be a connection.

And away we go....

Vaya con Dios, Bea Arthur!

S

Andy and Deb,

Thanks for inviting us into your home. You're both tops! Thanks for inviting us to your party, Elecia and Frank Todd. It was awesome meeting everyone and winding up at Hula Hula to meet even more cool folks. (Personally I was fine with buying my own drinks. So don't let our little debutante give you a bad impression of So Cal.)

Looking forward to a return trip someday soon! :)

mmmmmmmmmmm....coffee........

NO MOMMY! Don't make me go to the EMP with Doughorne and Squid!!!!

Did you see this (not from the same party)?

[ Edited by: beadtiki 2009-10-29 11:58 ]
