I’ve spent the last few months working on the follow up to “The Exoticating Waves…” and have for you ten tracks of pure holiday cheer. I dug back to find some classic Christmas songs and then put a big Latin/Exotica/Lounge spin on them all. The fantastic art for the CD was put together by the one and only Mr. Doug Horne and the songs feature guest musicians extraordinaire Dave “Squid” Cohen on drums & percussion and Mark Riddle aka “Marty Lush” on vibraphone. A HUGE MAHALO to you guys for your time and your superb talents.

As far as I know, this season the only new Holiday CDs released are Tiki Joe's Ocean and Bob Dylan. Oddly they sound exactly the same :lol:

With much of the country freezing its collective rum balls off, this is a perfect way to warm yourself up! The music was the only thing putting out heat in my car on the drive into work this morning.

FUN, FUN, and MORE FUN! Great tunes and great artwork. I had the pleasure of going to the release party and got to hear it twice there and I've played it at home to the amusement of my almost-20-year-old. She giggled and hummed along with the music and it put us in an upbeat mood! Thanks Andy - for the many years of Tiki Xmas music!

With just TWO WEEKS until Christmas, I'm quite happy to say that the CD is truly resonating, worldwide, thanks to ALL your support. I'm quite happy you've enjoyed it. Hearing from fans, friends, DJs, writers and musicians about this project has been too cool and very humbling. So mahalo for that.

Should you judge a CD by its cover? I'm sure I'll enjoy the music as the samples sound great but I know I just LOVE the cover! The spirit of the piece is irresistible and the details are priceless. For instance, I love the tiki pendant that Tiki Joe is wearing.
