Not exotic harmonizing, just some classic NY style Doo Wop by A Cappella masters the Delmonicos for a Poly Pop inspired record label. |

I use Rocking in the jungle by the Eternals in my alarm clock. It wasn’t my intention to open a thread about jungle/exotic Doo Woop, but it sure is a cool subject. The Cadets - Stranded in the jungle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0AxZySu4RU And don´t forget the New York Dolls cover... |

I love Los Zafiros. They have a powerful style. I also discovered other latin vocal groups from the era via YouTube. It’s like a third leg between the rhythm’n’blues groups like the Cadillacs and the italians like Dion & The Belmonts. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=93B9FD4B289DDE48 [ Edited by: Kawentzmann 2009-12-14 15:36 ] |
