This was a picture that was basically one of those bargain basement type of things in the late 60's (???). it's a dark painted background with a single tiki statue. If any of you have been to Hala Kahiki in River Grove, Il it's near the front bar. I would really like to get one of these and have no idea where or how. I figured if I had more info on the picture, that would help out a great deal.

I've seen it on Ebay quite a bit. Can't remember the name of the artist though.

I've been drooling over it ever since. But don't worry about me finding it on e-bay before you. I decided to paint my own version of it. I just finished the pineapple last night. If you do find more than one on e-bay, please let us know because someday I'd like to have the real one. Happy Hunting!

Swanky and I will be going on the I27 Yard Sale this weekend and I'll keep a good lookout!

I think it's harder to find than the Pearl of Wisdom, but maybe just 'round these parts. You may want to visit Trader Dave's shack at the all night flea market the weekend of Exotica, there may be a Pearl of Wisdom there....
