Don the Beachcomber Hosts Traditional Chinese New Year! - California Events

Happy 4,708! Half of the world did not ring in the New Year on January 1 – for them, Sunday, February 14 marks the Chinese New Year and Don the Beachcomber will ring in the Year of the Tiger with a 10-course dinner, Chinese acrobats, singers, musicians and, of course, a traditional Dragon Dance by China Night. This event, from 7 p.m. to midnight, marks the rebirth of a tradition started years ago at Sam’s Seafood, where the Chinese New Year was celebrated annually in the community.
