Year of the Tiger welcomed with 10-course meal, Chinese acrobats and traditional Dragon Dance
Gong Hay Fa Choi! Happy 4,708! Half of the world did not ring in the New Year on January 1 – for them, Sunday, February 14 marks the Chinese New Year and Don the Beachcomber will ring in the Year of the Tiger with a 10-course dinner, Chinese acrobats, singers, musicians and, of course, a traditional Dragon Dance by China Night. This event, from 7 p.m. to midnight, marks the rebirth of a tradition started years ago at Sam’s Seafood, where the Chinese New Year was celebrated annually in the community.

Entertainment will be provided by LA’s China Night, who will be performing many of the following:

Acrobatics of Balancing
Tea Pot Balancing
Changing Faces
Going Through the Barrel
Chinese Instrumental Music – Erwu
Kicking the Bowls
Comedy Magic and Acrobatics
