Aloha!

Thanks for checking out my TC gallery. I have always loved
velvet paintings with South Pacific imagery (Especially Leeteg and Tyree!).
Recently, I was lucky enough to have purchased an original Leeteg.
Almost a year ago I decided to journey into the dark side and now I am hooked.
Before that I had not painted in years. So I have rediscovered
the joy of painting and combined it with my love of velvet!

Cheers and Mahalo! :drink:
Jason

P.S. I will post newer works at the the top of page 1.

Jason -

KILLER VELVETS, bro!!

(Tonga Hut is all the better because of your work. I enjoy the charged atmosphere present there now - Kelly (Hiphipahula) is the main draw for me but your art on the walls make the space extra special. Thank YOU.)

I hope to someday sit down with you and talk technique, I'd really dig that opportunity...even better...someday commission a painting from you :)

Keep 'em coming as you finish more beauties. Cheers!

Mucho Mahaloz my tiki brethren!

Thanks so much Greg! Really appreciate the Tonga Hut props.
That place is a gem for sure and it is an honor having some velvets
hanging on those legendary walls. Kelly Rocks! Next time I sees
ya we ll talk technique for sure. Hopefully at (where else) the Tonga Hut!
Cheers again!

Thanks ATP! Kinda reminds me of your frames.
My first two velvets ever! As a matter of fact, one of the Velvet Betties
is still available over at 8-Ball in Burbank. And for a good price, that is probably
negotiable, as they are going out of biz the end of August.

This one is my favorite.. even I love all your paintings

I love that one too :) I just have one suggestion... I wonder if you couldn't do this one (or similar) like a "large" painting I mean we can see her totally.. her legs and feet..) like a Odalisque ? I could definately see it beside a bed . I'm not sure I do explain correctly.. anyway.. I know what I mean

Velvet for Book of Tiki 10th Anniversary ART Show at M Modern Gallery
in Palm Springs.

Another new one! looking great Jason.
now what's next...I can't wait.

Your Art looked beautiful at the M Modern BOT 10 year Ann. show Jason. Well done a labor of love.

Indeed, here's the one with the classic Hanalei/BOT Tiki, exuding that naive vintage charm that only Leeteg originals carry:

Thanks guys!

Kelly, it was great seeing you in Palm Springs!

Cheers Sven! Thanks again for including us in your show.

Aloha!

Bai and I like the same painting. I have to think that the sailor she loved has now left her. There is a lot of emotion in this painting, terrific, Wendy
