Jonpaul and Adrien are both personal friends of mine and this show has been in the planning stage for some time now. The band intends pulling all the stops for this and they've assured me that the Forbidden Island show will be the crown jewel of their Norcal tour. Mahalo!

I hadn't seen The Insect Surfers in about 10 years! Also in the audience were SF artist Dave Sturm and now-Pleasanton resident but former king of Surf Music on the airwaves in LA, Jim Dunfrund. Jim ran Surfwave on KXLU for about 20 years!! For the last Insect Surfers set there was an all-star jam.
