That's very cool - I'll check with my shirt-lady and see how much fabric she needs for my shirts!

I would say that Andy would be a good choice if youre on the East Coast and Karrol if you are on the West Coast. Andy has never expressed interest in working with my fabric designs, but Karrol has. (Just a little extra information to help you decide.)

Things are updating so fast I can barely keep up. I've got 7 design samples plus the swatches of the different fabric weights and I'll be brining them with me to Oasis for show and tell if you would like to see them in person.
I'm about to order the next batch of samples and I'm considering these:

wow where the heck did this thread come from. I totally do NOT remember ever creating it. Sorry for the multiple posting of information. I recently updated my fabric info on my "everything" marketplace thread.

so if you didnt catch that one the link to my spoonflower is still the same only now I have 200 fabrics availible.

as to answer your question Spamy Mc Spamsters
The best fabrics um are MINE!!!

but seriously you need to clarify what you want to make before you can deternime the best fabric for the use. and by best do you mean, "most popular" , " best in quality" . " least resistant to spontanious combustion" , " best choice for pond liner" almost impossible to answer your question without more information.

I love this fabric:

http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/289490

Do you have any plans for patterns on a black background?

S
Sophista-tiki posted on 04/12/2011

Thanks,
Black background fabrics are in the future, but probably not through Spoonflower. They don't recommend large areas of dark color for their printing process. Spoonflower is just the beginning and a great way to get launched in fabric design. I'm currently working on some licensing which is where black background choices will be available.

The Aframes patterns were my very first attempts last year. I love those too, but I want to tweek it a bit before I make it availible. its originaly intended as a boarder print.

Hina Bec posted on 04/12/2011

Ah- now I could definitely get behind a dress with that A-frame pattern on the hem!

Please let me know if you make it available for purchase. Surely I can find someone to sew it for me here in the middle of nowhere.

Your fabrics are just beautiful. I have a feeling I'm going to become your paycheck slave. :D
