anybody else see this thing?

ummm just checking, is it supposed to be there? and, is there any way to make it a little less omnipresent?

I know you need to earn a buck to keep this show going, but...

I'm not seeing it.

Cool, it didn't seem to be as unintrusive as Hanford usually makes things, with my cookie control on high, it isn't there.

Okay, here's the inside scoop on the banner:

1. you only see it when you use http://www.tikicentral.com, http://www.tikicentral.org, or http://www.tikicentral.net.

2. I have some Java code that will get rid of it right after the first page loads. 99% of the time it works, but sometimes, for whatever reason, it doesn't.

So chances are you were in that 1% of the time when it didn't work.

You may have a "Parasite". Go to http://www.doxdesk.com/ and click parasite in the left column. A detection script will run and check for unsolicited comercial software. Good luck.
