What is the joke that the Disneyland Jungle Cruise skippers say when then pass by Trader Sam? Something like "one of yours for one of his"? |

Atomikitty has emerged from the deep dark jungles to post again on Tiki Central! Really looking forward to the show tonight~ seeing some AMAZING art, listening to some GROOVY tunes, Imbibing in some lovely spirits, and most of all seeing all my Tiki Ohana. It's been WAY too long! Here are a few teasers of my 'shrunken pieces' for the show: |

Agreed, it was an incredible show!(I just wish it had a tadbit more elbowroom! I guess that's what happens when you cram in nearly 200 people inside a storefront gallery! I really enjoyed seeing alot of old familiar faces as well, and enjoyed the difibulator experience after ordering half of the menu off of the BaconMania truck! Thanks everyone who attended, it was definately a star studded event.(I just wish I'd have had enough money to buy everything, as the art was top notch and top shelf merch! Kudos to the Artists involved. (oh and forgot to add, I was wondering if the "Toe 'ster" got his shoe seams bleached at the same place Kinny gets his ends/tips done?) :P [ Edited by: Tom Slick 2011-04-10 18:40 ] |

Sorry about that Jeff. We do appreciate you coming out, even late. Its true that at traditional gallery art shows, the art does stay on the wall for the run of the show. But this is an art co-op show, so the rules are more flexible. We felt that since it's a non-permanent space, and only open 3 days a week at funky hours, we werent sure if anyone would come out after opening night. We will post the whole show on a facebook page, so you can see what was spirited away. |
