Mexican Circle Skirt? Seeing as how I go to so much work to avoid having a mustache, I think this will be the contest for me...

Swanky! You sure grew that stache fast! did I forget to state that in order to WIN the contest the stache must be real.

'Stashes? We ain' got no 'stashes. We don' need no 'stashes. I don' haf to show you any stinkin' 'stashes!

LOL, THAT is the look!

Here is the most famous bandito - Pancho Villa

Another real man with a real mustache - Rollie Fingers of Oakland

Don't get the wrong idea though. Not just any mustache will do.
This guy probably would not get laid at Tiki Oasis with that sad Seventies mustache

similarly, this guy might be sexy, but his mustache is not

Even this REAL MAN, with his stylish South of the Border dress, would not be able to win the mustache contest with his ungroomed 'stache

Huh ?? I always considered the 1970's as the cool mustache decade. For instance:

There was Ron "Superfly" O'Neal...

And adult film star Harry Reems...

I figure in a few years, we'll get around to the "Disco Party" Tiki Oasis. :D

I wish I could grow a bushy mustache. :(

OK Ladies, if mustache contest is not your bag, and you just don't think you'll look good in a Mexican circle skirt, maybe you'll enjoy being covered in whip cream?

Here it is, the contest for you!!!

OK, you are right, 70s was THEE decade for mustaches (and Rollie Fingers is from the 70s) but the intent is not to have a 70s mustache contest but a bandito mustache contest like this!

Look! Tiki Tony has a good start on a bushy handlebar mustache!!

GROG willing to volunteer as whipped cream applier for contest.

I picked up a San Diego Travel guide from 1979 today. One of the spreads shows that a porn-stache and being a bandito can work together!

Grog making things a little more... interesting. Now if you could put together a photoshop slideshow of your different exotic adventures and project them on the wall during a room crawl. That would be good stuff.

This rental place in Orange County has everything!

Maybe you can get a zebra painted prop donkey.

Or just the regular one is good too.

TJ Street pics would be pretty fun! I know a couple of guys who are collecting up vintage sombreros.

Sweetpea, the wife and I are 6in' it this year. Don't worry, you're far from alone!

My girlfriend, my brother and myself will be at the 6 this year too.

The good thing about Tiki Oasis being at a location in Hotel Circle is that, well, plenty of lodging choices. I was going to stay at the Howard Johnson because it's, well, a Howard Johnson. It looks like no rooms were available there for those days so I'm staying elsewhere.

I think the Motel 6 is raising its rates now!
Keep in mind, Kings Inn is $89 night and includes a free margarita with every two night stay
and they have a good Mex restaurant for dinner and Waffle Spot for breakfast and a pool you would actually want to swim in!?!

Viva la Motel 6! We got our room when it was only $69 a night but alot of Ohana will be there.

CA

the magic 69 is only for non weekend days

Hey Holden always has a jump on the competition! now where is that whipped cream....??????

thanks Wendy for the photo!

I have traveled to 130 countries.

Here is a photo of me with my parents on my first trip abroad.

Viva Tiki Oasis 11!

I've been at the 6 for raider games. Not the Plaza, but I only sleep there so its ok. Plus, its F-ing luxury compared to the trailerpark! lol

For those who want a real vacation and are not staying at the Crowne Plaza, we have a special rate up the street at the very nice resort hotel The Handlery. This discounted rate ends a week from tomorrow - Wednesday, June 29

http://www.tikioasis.com/2011/hotelbooking/handlery/

http://www.handlery.com/

or if you want budget hotel that is not totally lame (yes, that's you Motel 6)
We recommend the vintage Kings Inn complete with Mexican Restaurant and Waffle Spot diner
http://www.tikioasis.com/2011/hotelbooking/kingsinn/

Tiki Oasis guests get $89 rate with two free margaritas for two or more night stay!!

Motel 6 is $86.39

After factoring in the margaritas you are saving money by going to a BETTER hotel - Kings Inn!?!

Cudra Clover and I are looking to team up with one of the party crawl rooms at Tiki Oasis. I have an awesome, gorgeous, solid koa top tiki bar sitting in San Diego that I can bring to our party, along with a very cool 4' Witco plaque. Cudra and I do the Exotica Hour podcast, so we can also provide exotic party music. Here's a link to view the bar:

http://www.kavay.org/images/TikiBarBearCave/index.html

Here's the Witco plaque that I'm shipping to San Diego for Tiki Oasis and Burning Man. I may have more decorations to supply by Oasis.

Anyone with one of the big party rooms that wants to team up and throw a killer room crawl event, just email me. My only worry is about fitting the bar into the room, as it has a sexy, curvaceous body. Best....Captain Kush
