Hi all
The third part in the series on Tiki Design has posted on specs+spaces featuring interviews with Sven Kirsten and Bamboo Ben and home tours of some great examples of the Tiki look:

Thanks to everyone to helped with this piece, invited me over, and provided insight.

Hope to see you all out at Tiki bar near you soon!
Aloha!

Right on Kastle!!!

Was fun chattin' wit ya.

Dark Dark Brown is Tiki Tiki too

Now this is real nice, Tiki K. When I enjoyed your writing, I didn't know I'd get to thank you for it.

Wow...great article, fabulous pictures...an awesome nod to Tiki. GOOD JOB!!!

Ben, I checked their website, and Dunn-Edwards has an impressive paint palette of 1,696 colors - including 100 whites!
With so many choices, I'm having trouble deciding... Which of their whites would you recommend for the walls of my tiki room?

Q

HAHAHA!!! I know enough to know a white wall joke when I read one.

Cheers!

Q

Oh... I forgot.

Just read the three articles in the series. Well done Kastle!!

TK

Thanks all for the kind words on the article! Long live Tiki!

Cheers,
Kastle

Tiki K, that was an absolutely delicious series of articles. THANK YOU!

May even entice a few more souls posessed by ennui to break out, buy some bright print kit, down a few mai-tais and buy a Hula Girls CD, puffer fish lamp, rattan mat and some Shag art...

...come over to the fun side..
