Very cool. Looks like there will be many-a-hangover to be conceived there. Wish I was a bit more handy with the tools to do something like that! |

Have confidence brother, you can do it! Bamboo and rope hides lots of mistakes! Love the outside bar, would like to get a look at your roof! [ Edited by: newB24 2012-02-03 04:36 ] |

Thanks for the great compliments. I know, I have to start decorating it, it still looks a little barren. Anyone with any great ideas for bar stools, please send them my way. I don't have any yet, I could use about 10 of them. |

You could use just regular bar stools. They dont need to be anything special. Furniture stores, thrift shops, or anything like that in your area. But if you are looking for more tiki themed stools, check this site out. http://www.tropicaltikis.com. This is the mainlanders website in San Diego. Click on the carved tikis link and look for the tiki stools. Frankies tiki room in Las Vegas got all thier seats from this place. They are a little pricey though. You can just find some regular stools too and jusr get some hawaiian, Tapa cloth and re-fabric the seats. You can find that stuff on ebay. Here is a example of what you can do. I scored a Tikifarm tiki bar for a 100 bucks and this is the fabric on their seats. |
