I recently won this on ebay, really cheap, due to an obscure title:

30s-40s Dodge hula motion lamp

She's ready for a restore, the motor for the hula motion works, but is missing the ring that makes her hips & skirt sway.

I'll post some pics after she gets some restore work done.

You know Terry,
Someone posted recently that the hula lamps with both hand up are the rarest. Good score.

Actually, I was told that in Kona, at a bar where they had all three, original and working.
She's amazing. I gave up on finding one, since even repro's command such a high price. It wouldn't go well with my cheesy decor anyway. I'm only looking for crap now! Is she marked?
Someone told me a watch repair could fix these lamps since the movement is similar. It may be worth a call...don't know for sure.

I had also learned that the wave design base makes it even more rare; most you'll see will have a stacked ring pedestal. This lamp was also done in ceramic, which is even more rare...
