LOL... I love those! I remember when they came out when I was a kid and we used to collect them all.
:D

Didn't they come with gum that lasted about 30 seconds?

Didn't everything back then? hahahah
Seriously, I'm thinking of getting a few of these. I think they're great.
Got a few other things scoped out too. :D

Hey, you've got to love a product that spoofs it self! I remember a Wacky Packs stricker for "Wormy Packers".

Man, these used to crack us up back in Fishkill Elementary.

I got one of those Wacky Packages sheets a few years ago from bro Derek for Christmas. I was going to frame it but then you wouldn't be able to see the poster size one on the back.

More reason to buy 2!
:D

I loved Wacky Packages as a kid. I used to draw my own when I was like 6. I still think it inspires my artwork today. So makes sense I should order a sheet, yes? Well, no.
No Shipee to Canadee. Bastards!

More useless trivia:

One of the artists who created Wacky Packages was Art Spiegelman, who later won a Pulitzer prize for "Maus."

GREAT! I really loved them and Mad magazine too. My parents brought us to the Mad magazine headquarters in NY in the early 70's. We got the grand tour with Bill Gaines and the mad crew. They were so delighted that parents would bring their kids to them!!! Was a very cool experience. :D

Ah, the memoriess...Wacky Packages are the first thing I ever colllected. My neighborhood friends and I collected and traded them. We were so obsessed, we even knew when a new series would be arriving at the local drug store. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I would spend weeks worth of allowances to buy a new sealed box of the packs.

A couple of weeks ago I was going through some old boxes in our storage area and actually found my old Wacky Packages collection. For some odd reason I still like to look at those things....

ModMana :drink:

A well deserved Pulitzer for "Maus".

Reminisce here, since we can't all have ModMana's luck.

Yes Mr. Art Spiegleman is THE man.

Amazing that his art has varied from something as silly (but still brilliant IMHO) as the Wacky Packages to something as sobering (yet still life-affirming) as MAUS.

Well, maybe not amazing. I mean, artists are allowed to have extremes. Are we not?
