I found this in a retro recipe flyer and wanted to know if I can use light rum in place of the old Fitzgerald? 1 lrg. cup brown sugar |

Should work great. Pineapple, lemon, orange, sugar, ginger and booze. Sounds straight out of tiki-land to me, especially with the rum sub. |

Cruzan light should work OK, but I would think Cruzan dark would be a better replacement for Bourbon. |

This is basically the same as a classic rum punch recipe by substituting the bourbon I would hold off adding the brown sugar at first, try it in a test drink to see if you like it [ Edited by: Atomic Tiki Punk 2012-11-26 13:48 ] |
