Wow TR, this place really is outta site!! The landscaping pulls it all together to take you away to another place hidden on a secluded island. Well done! Did you have the Luau yet? Make sure and post some pics of the pig when you do. :) Cheers! |

Plans are coming I promise all you asking...thanks for the interest and I hope I can help anyone with their structure. The hut is holding up really good I added bamboo roll up shades - the roof is holding up amazing for grass. it stays dry and in place even with the wild thunderstorms and heavy rain GA has been getting this summer. I will post some more pics this weekend - the landscaping has grown in really nice...giant elephant ears Hope to see some of you at the 2nd annual Rockabilly Luau in Tucker this weekend. http://www.rockabillyluau.com This Saturday Aug 4th! New railings for code inspections! Finally got a chance to add some more railings to make it code compliant since my asshole neighbor called the city on me. too bad for him I got a permit! The railings are a good idea though...after a few rum runners that extra railing might come in handy. check out the blog |

Heading to Mississippi to build the next Grand Hut! here is a picture of the build site next to a fully stocked lake full of trophy bass! Super cool owner Tracy is all about it! This one will have running water and electricity with front and rear awnings along with a gabled side entrance. Should be even better than mine! Check out my blog for all the progress http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com Southern Bamboo will also be planting many bamboo groves around the property! |

Just caught up with your pics of your uber cool tiki hut. Great work sir! Love those hot wheels too. I also liked that photo of the kid sitting at the bar with the tiki mug - that photo should have the caption "I cherish these moments". I agree with your sentiment - Life's too short not to have a tiki hut. Something your anal retentive neighbour doesn't get. I'm afraid he's low man on the totem pole. AWESOME trip to the Sunset tiki party hosted by the Postcard inn and Left coast bartenders guild. Really fun time and can't thank Surf Soul Tiki enough for all the help and support to make the trip a success. I had Jeff carve some tiki masks for the fronts - here are a couple of pictures of my latest design.."the Outrigger portable tiki bar" 8ft wide and 8.5 ft tall with a canopy made of solid bamboo and mexican rain cape that stretches ten ft in the front of the bar and 6 ft behind the bar....massive but keeps the sun off your drinking skull. Its also available without a canopy - Thank you postcard inn for not making me pack it up...they bought it for their pool deck. Check out more pics at the blog. http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com |
