Tiki goalie

I don't think there's anything LESS tiki than ice hockey. So I was very surprised to discover that NHL goalie Jose Theodore is currently playing with a mask featuring tiki figures.

Theodore is playing with the Florida Panthers and his mask is a apparently a tribute to Florida's beach culture. Enjoy it while it last because Theodore will probably have a new mask at the start of next season.

Does this mean hockey is the tikiest sport? I don't think so because football and baseball have some hawaiian players. Hockey, not so much. Football also has the Pro Bowl in Hawaii every year... and former Giants Tiki Barber. So I think the NFL comes out on top again!

Wow, those goalie pads are great. Are they for real?

One could make a very cool old school goalie mask with a tiki face on it.
