In honor of what would have been Big Daddy's 80th B-Day on March 4th, here's a article from a 60's issue of Modern Man with some photos of him in and on the Surfite (as shown on P.237 of BOT). With his space-aged cars & crazy Hot Rod monsters, Ed, a So Cal "kid" who passed away in 2001, still inspires many artists of the recent resurgence of TIKI art.
