Ticket sales are going strong! After a sold-out show last evening in Alta Dena and a packed house up in Santa Cruz, I am sure we will send Mike Keale back to Kauai with fond memories of Don the Beachcomber! If you miss him tomorrow, then you'll have to get lucky and be at Tahiti Nui on a night he sits in with the locals! Sales go offline at 6am tomorrow. Tickets to Mike Keale w/Ka'amea at Don the Beachcomber 6/1 6pm I will be at Hale Hawaii tonight if you want to stop by and purchase your tickets from me. (We may have a sponsored discount on a limited amount of tickets-but only tonight.) http://www.DonTheBeachcomber.com [ Edited by: SoccerTiki 2013-05-31 17:26 ] |

Last night's show was a real treat for those who enjoy quality Hawaiian music. Ka'amea warmed up the audience with both traditional Hawaiian songs and some Hapa Haole as well. Mike Keale entertained the crowd (that came from as far away as Santa Clarita and Temecula)with a voice that can only be compared to that of his cousin Brother IZ and his Uncle Moe Keale. Mike's wife Linda accompanied him with some beautiful Hula. All in all, being entertained in the tropical setting of Don the Beachcomber, the near capacity crowd left with the feeling like they had just taken a trip to the islands. Thank you to all who attended and made this event so much fun! And BIG MAHALOZ to Jeff (Big Tiki Dude) for supplying (and running) the sound system and providing the perfect background music between sets! Pictures to follow soon! |
