are you ready? a fish hook. seriously... I had several deep palm splinters I was having difficulty removing, and I was sitting at a stoplight in my truck and looked down at the console and there was a fishing lure there, and I thought to myself "I wonder if that would work? I had 'em all popped out before the light turned green... with little or no pain.... VICTORY! |

Sounds about right. I use a sterilized needle to remove splinters. |

I have used the "biting them out" technique for years. the fishhook kills it. and forget the needle... the FISHHOOK rules.... try it.... I'm tellin' you.... |

might have to try that. I currently take an xacto knife and cut the skin open a little more to expose the splinter. Then i use the point of the knife and tweezers to dig it out. |

Big T scores! Fish hook would work on the easy to novice level ones, but, most of mine are doozies (through the cheesy gloves level) to which, I apply the scorched hook blade. But not at a traffic light. McTiki |
