The barn is done! well, it will evolve forever but the barn party pig roast was a huge success and can't wait to share all the pictures. here are a few to wet your appetite...go to http://www.tikirancher.blogspot for all the detailed shots. mahalo

tiki rancher in hat....we drank gallons of rum!

Q

Wow TR, this place really is outta site!! The landscaping pulls it all together to take you away to another place hidden on a secluded island.

Well done!

Did you have the Luau yet? Make sure and post some pics of the pig when you do. :)

Cheers!

Looks great!

Place looks great, but you really need a fish float globe light hanging
on the center front aframe.

great idea on the fish float globe light fixture...got one?

M

AWESOME!

Here are some shots from the pig roast/barn party...I highly suggest this method of cooking a pig if any one has questions please feel free to ask
cheers....TR

WOW!
What a great place you have!
Awesome job.

Classic Beauty

Beautiful inside and out, great landscaping - a bold project comes to fruition! Looks like everyone had a great time and that the pig came out perfect. Congratulations on an awesome temple dedication!

Cooking the pig Cuban style! Looks like you threw a fun party.

I'm thinking about creating a kit and plans for someone to build their own Bora Bora Bamboo Barn....anyone think its a good idea?

Yes that would be cool.

Yes, I'm interested.

Hi there, I just joined this forum and am hugely impressed with the job you did! Congrats, and I'm jealous!

EJ

I would be interested as well in a kit and/or plans.

The hut looks fantastic! I hope that it has been holding up okay with all of the crazy thunderstorms we have been getting down here.

Plans are coming I promise all you asking...thanks for the interest and I hope I can help anyone with their structure. The hut is holding up really good I added bamboo roll up shades - the roof is holding up amazing for grass. it stays dry and in place even with the wild thunderstorms and heavy rain GA has been getting this summer.

I will post some more pics this weekend - the landscaping has grown in really nice...giant elephant ears

Hope to see some of you at the 2nd annual Rockabilly Luau in Tucker this weekend. http://www.rockabillyluau.com This Saturday Aug 4th! Drive your heap and meet the creep

Spectacular job all-round mate, really really cool.

For those have watched the Bora Bora Bamboo Barn being built in the Home Tiki Bar section - now you can have your very own custom bamboo barn! I am now selling complete DIY kits, plans for large small and dog house bamboo shelters. Plus there are other tiki related items at the Bamboobarn on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/shop/bamboobarn

Thanks and look forward to helping those with the tiki addiction like myself

I had a professional photographer approach me to do a magazine article he's going to pitch...really nice photos check em out!

That is truly freaking awesome !!!!!

Wow.

Decided to break out some chisels to make another tiki addition to the barn - be kind it was with a pine log and home depot chisels.

thanks for all the kind words - almost ready to launch the DIY kits for three sizes of bamboo barns including dog houses!

New railings for code inspections! Finally got a chance to add some more railings to make it code compliant since my asshole neighbor called the city on me. too bad for him I got a permit! The railings are a good idea though...after a few rum runners that extra railing might come in handy.

Christmas in the HUT! for more pics check out the blog http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com

Merry Christmas from the Tiki Ranch!

New Hut to be built in Mississippi! The guys at Southern Bamboo have commissioned the newest hut. We will start pre planning next week and meet with the clients. Way to go Sean and Tom! Thanks for the business!
They were smart enough to pick up the vintage rattan set I found a couple of weeks ago. should look awesome in the Royal Grand Hut! Keep tuned into the blog for progress http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com

Great lookin' tiki pad! Gorgeous car, too!! :)

Heading to Mississippi to build the next Grand Hut! here is a picture of the build site next to a fully stocked lake full of trophy bass! Super cool owner Tracy is all about it! This one will have running water and electricity with front and rear awnings along with a gabled side entrance. Should be even better than mine! Check out my blog for all the progress http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com

Southern Bamboo will also be planting many bamboo groves around the property!

E

Spectacular location! Can't wait to see how it progresses.

MILESTONE DAY - City of Roswell approved my final inspection for my barn in the backyard...my neighbor can piss off now! hahaha

these are the bushes my neighbor forced me to plant to hide the hut from his view..what a joke..a $1200 joke....bastard

Q

Good news! Looks like you made some useful improvements even though you had to wade through the bull crap to get there.

I guess you won't be inviting the neighbor over for a celebratory beverage??

Cheers and Aloha,

Q

I did invite the bastard over for the pig roast last memorial day...I guess he didn't like pork...
thanks for the congrats...believe me it was a labor of love I didn't want the "man" tearing it down.

TIKI RANCHER is going to be at the Sunset Tiki Party in St Pete Beach on June 2nd! check out the Postcard Inn at http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com I'm building 2 custom portable Tiki bars for the event and hopefully the hotel will keep one. Super cool people making it happen. Cheers

Just caught up with your pics of your uber cool tiki hut. Great work sir!

Love those hot wheels too. I also liked that photo of the kid sitting at the bar with the tiki mug - that photo should have the caption "I cherish these moments".

I agree with your sentiment - Life's too short not to have a tiki hut. Something your anal retentive neighbour doesn't get. I'm afraid he's low man on the totem pole.

Dude! That hut is awesome! I know how difficult bamboo can be to work with, great job!!!

LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW SO IMPRESIVE

AWESOME trip to the Sunset tiki party hosted by the Postcard inn and Left coast bartenders guild. Really fun time and can't thank Surf Soul Tiki enough for all the help and support to make the trip a success. I had Jeff carve some tiki masks for the fronts - here are a couple of pictures of my latest design.."the Outrigger portable tiki bar" 8ft wide and 8.5 ft tall with a canopy made of solid bamboo and mexican rain cape that stretches ten ft in the front of the bar and 6 ft behind the bar....massive but keeps the sun off your drinking skull. Its also available without a canopy - Thank you postcard inn for not making me pack it up...they bought it for their pool deck. Check out more pics at the blog. http://www.tikirancher.blogspot.com
