normally i would post this in tiki finds, but i have never seen one of these before and was curious if this was some sort of vase or utensil holder. There are 2 cut outs on wither side which could have been for flowers or something else. I recently got this on ebay. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

It is a head vase, when you put flowers in, it looks like the Woman has flowers in her hair
I can't read the name on the bottom of the vase in the picture, can you tell me what it says?

I think he may of done this thru "Metlox Pottery of California"
sometime in the mid 1940s to late 1950s, nice find!

I collect Dorothy Kindell & Sascha Brastoff ceramics, myself.
