The fantastic talented Dr Alderete will go to Rapa Nui for an exhibition of his work called "TIKE’A Rapa Nui and the South Pacific Islands". he made 12 silkscreen with ilustration about different islands from South Pacific, 10 giclee prints with portraits of characters of Easters Island’s history, around 14 portraits from people that he met in his first trip... and a small book (200 copies) with scketches and portraits from the past trip... Check out this great portrait of Thor Heyerdhal : The book is going to be available trough the website of the publisher: Ediciones Acapulco http://edicionesacapulco.mx/ Only 200 copies signed and numbered. The price is U$ 30 all the prints will be available at his website http://www.vertigogaleria.com/ such as this one, for 50 dollars (only 50 prints) The show will probably go to Chile, Argentina and Mexico after Easter Island. |

The Mural: The island airport construction began in 1965. The NASA tracking station that worked on the island ceased operations in 1975. However in 1986 it was decided to expand the airport by the NASA as an location for emergency landing for the space shuttle. |

I liked how the film is made to look old. I liked the music as well. I'm looking forward to this. I like your artwork. |
