Coconut monkey lamp

Been sitting on him for a while wondering what I could do with him. A little inspiration, Home Depot lamp kit, and a funky shade from Retromoddesign and VOILA! He's old and a little dry rotted. Plan to use a low wattage cool bulb with it. If anyone has any suggestions on a fire retardant I could treat him with it would be much appreciated. Probably overkill, but it would be the responsible thing to do. We love our monkeys! :P
