Hi, so I have been trying to come up with a mini tiki bar. I don't drink but my friends do. I was trying to be creative in coming up with an idea that would work. This is the latest of what I have come up with. I have lots of tiki mugs but no room on the mini bar. This is a 50's or 60's mint condition plant stand that was dark green. I am going to put glass decanters on the top. Still trying to make it look good. I added the two lamps that I have just for looks. Added some more glassware. I do have a red locker credenza that I have to put together and this bar might look pretty good sitting on top of it. Hmmm-the possibilities. It's darling! Love that Space Needle decanter. I wonder if you could incorporate one of these little wire kitchen shelves (painted to match) to provide a bit more height to the rear items? That one is probably too big, but they come in different sizes. |

Great start. You could set that on top of a matching book case, then keep the mugs and glasses in the bookcase and the booze/mixers on that gorgeous stand. I'm sure you will get it set up to function well and look classy whatever you do. Have fun. |

Humu, love the idea. In fact I have two small ones in the cupboard that I bought that are half that size. It would be great if I could get that to work for height. Great Idea! Now I need to see if it will work. Oh btw the space needle in the front is actually a highball with a hole in the top for a straw. I do have the 21st century decanter in back of the white high ball. |
